On Wednesday, July 30, Former City Historian and longtime MPT Board Member Richard Platt was honored by the city of Milford with a bench dedicated in his honor.  The bench is aptly placed on the banks of the North Street duck pond in the heart of Milford Historic District 1.   Mayor Ben Blake payed tribute to Platt saying he is “a leader in preserving Milford’s history; his focus has been on saving historical structures for this generation” and the next.   Click thumbnails to view photos and read more in the story from the New Haven Register.
