There are 2 items on the Board of Alderman agenda for Monday evening and Milford Preservation Trust would love your attendance.  Any supporting remarks you would like to make to our Aldermen would be greatly appreciated.

The 1st item is an Ordinance establishing an Historic Preservation Commission to locate and review potential homes in Milford that are not in any current historic district.  Homeowners would be asked to agree to inclusion on the Federal or State Registry of Historic Places.
The 2nd item is to amend our Demolition Ordinance to require a date stamped Notification of Permit be sent to the City Historian and others and to extend the delay to 180 days.
You may review this link for more information.
The MPT Ordinance Committee and our former Historian have been diligently working on these issues for several months.  We appreciate your support and are looking forward to seeing you at City Hall on Monday, December 1, 2014, at 7:00 pm.If you are unable to attend, please consider writing your alderman to express your view.  Contact information my be found here.
